This was our most difficult movie so far with a lot of characters all moving at the same time. In addition they are all different so it was very hard to find the right color for keying ... and eventually it had to be re-shot as the first try completely failed.
Adobe After Effects helped me a lot with keying but to be honest this is the last time I’ll use keying as postproduction takes too much time.
But no matter what we did technically the end result is a cool and funny dino movie and the mass dance at the end looks great :)
At that moment I did't use any animation software - Canon basic remote shooting software aloes to view result right after you shot it.
